Cooking Tip
When you are making a pasta sauce (whose ingredients are mostly comprised of leftovers that you want to use before they go bad) and you look in the cupboard to see what you might add to give it that disctintive flavor, don't give in to the temptation to grab the syrup bottle. I did this last night and I think I ruined a perfectly good batch of pasta sauce.
I am actually kind of pissed off about it right now. I feel like I am eating something that Buddy the Elf made.... Well minus the M&Ms and gummy worms

Syrup!?! As an almost 100% Italian that is border line offensive. :)
As almost 100% of me is made of syrup I also find that offensive
